So Emersyn started day-care on Monday this week. We're both a little concerned they wont follow the schedule properly and give her the kind of care we would. But of course they wont. She's not their child. Its just hard to let go of some level of control, which I'm sure all parents understand. From what we can tell, she's adjusting fine - we're still getting used to it.
On the first day, when I picked her up, one of the teachers asked about playtime activities and the schedule. She said, "I've never seen a baby like that", referring to how she follows the schedule and sleeps, eats, plays when she's supposed to.
My first day back in the office today (working at home Monday/Tuesday just in case anything came up with day-care). I'm already missing her and looking forward to picking her up.
On the work front, I've started to read Agile Estimating and Planning. Hoping to be more Agile. Aren't we all?
