It was Hope's birthday over the weekend so to do something we haven't done in a really long time, we took advantage of the babysitting service the day-care has on Saturday nights and went out - just the two of us - at night. Felt strange to not have Emersyn with us but we got used to it pretty quickly and really enjoyed our time out.
We saw a new movie with Jodie Foster called The Brave One. Good movie. Disturbing, but very interesting. Afterward, we went to Millburn (nearby town) for some ice cream and then back to pick up Emersyn. I think we'll be doing that more often.
