I would say this was the #1 question upon returning to work after my daughter was born. Emersyn Rose was born on the 16th of April at 8:03 pm. She's just over 2 weeks old now and we're so excited to have her with us. I'm sure we'll be those parents that we used to get annoyed with that talk about what their kids are doing all the time.
So to answer the question regarding the sleep. So far, so good. We have her on a schedule which seems to be working pretty well. We're following an approach called PDF (Parent Directed Feeding) which is explained in the book called "On Becoming Baby Wise". Its different from what most are used to which is called 'On Demand Feeding' (e.g., baby cries, you get the baby and feed or comfort immediately). We give her plenty of love and attention; just not exactly when she demands it. May as well get her used to the idea that the world doesn't revolve around her.
Oh, right. The second most popular question is about pictures. They can be found here -> Emersyn pictures.

My wife Sherry and I are huge fans of Babywise. We learned about Babywise through a "Preparation for Parenting" class offered at our church just before our first child was born. We now lead the classes and recommend Babywise to every new parent. Thanks for sharing your experiences. I look forward to reading more. You have a beautiful little girl.
Congrats on your little one! Enjoy these early weeks--they are little for such a short time!
For some parents, BW seems to work great at first, but because of medical and developmental misinformation, it later can lead to problems. Often these are related to growth, milk supply, and sleep. I recommend googling BW, or check out http://www.ezzo.info .
